Responsibilities

• Analyzes and reviews purchase requisitions for accuracy and completeness.
• Solicits sources of supply, negotiates and analyzes prices, discount rates, delivery dates, and reviews supplier performance.
• Maintains purchase order files through award, delivery, and payment in multiple systems; follows up with vendors.
• Coordinates extensions or extensions with user departments as needed.
• Prepares documentation, correspondence, and purchase order amendments for supervisor approval.
• Ensures compliance with procurement regulations and city ordinances.
