Job summary

Meta is seeking an experienced Public Policy Manager to support the company’s energy and data center infrastructure policy initiatives. You will work with internal teams and external partners to track legislation, develop strategic engagement plans, and align stakeholders across the organization.

The role focuses on energy policy, site selection, and economic development, with responsibilities spanning research, documentation, and cross-functional collaboration to advance Meta’s energy goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in public policy, economic development, or energy related fields
• 5+ years of experience in energy (or related) policy with a focus on supporting business needs
• Experience managing multiple concurrent workstreams, tracking deadlines, and coordinating deliverables across teams
• Demonstrated ability to develop and successfully implement strategic initiatives
• Demonstrated ability to work with large cross-functional groups, including technical teams

Responsibilities

• Support execution of cross-functional policy initiatives related to data center infrastructure, energy, and economic development
• Identify and track energy and data center infrastructure related legislation across US States and Federal levels
• Collaborate with internal and external partners to identify policy issues affecting data center operations
• Support policy and engagement strategies informed by business needs, research, and public opinion
• Facilitate alignment across internal teams and external partners including trade associations
• Prepare summary documents and memos on infrastructure and energy policies to support external engagement
• Support other economic policy issues such as tax and trade policy as needed
