Job summary

Public Utilities Regulatory Authority (PURA) is seeking a Media Coordinator to support public-facing messaging and to maintain PURA's website and social media accounts. The role involves assisting with press and media efforts and helping to strengthen public engagement with PURA’s work.

Qualifications

• Five years of experience in commercial or illustration art or engineering drafting.
• One year of general experience planning, designing, and preparing scale models/exhibits for public events or display.
• College training in fine arts or commercial art may substitute for General Experience (15 semester hours = 1/2 year).

Responsibilities

• Designs and prepares graphic artwork for media and displays.
• Confer with supervisors on media methods and materials.
• Create freehand sketches and designs for projects.
• Provide instruction in media techniques to staff.
• Design and prepare camera-ready materials for printing.
• Produce displays and three-dimensional models for department use or exhibits.
• May design and maintain websites and related media.
• Perform related duties as required.
