Qualifications

• Graduated from ABA-accredited law school and licensed to practice in Washington.
• Ability to rapidly manage 80+ active cases and shift between tasks.
• Effective communication with client agencies, attorneys, and colleagues.
• Commitment to public service and diverse, inclusive work environment.

Responsibilities

• Represent DCYF in dependency, guardianship, and termination of parental rights cases.
• Advise clients on regulatory enforcement matters and licensing cases.
• Litigate difficult trials before superior court and administrative tribunals.
• Collaborate with social workers and agency staff to support cases.
• Prepare witnesses, discovery, and evidence for hearings or trials.
• Travel regularly within Washington State to client locations.
