Job summary

City of Peachtree City is seeking a Capital Projects Specialist to provide technical, administrative, and coordination support for the Capital Improvement Program. You will assist with planning, design, procurement, construction, and closeout of capital projects across transportation, utilities, buildings, and parks.

The role requires collaboration with consultants, contractors, regulatory agencies, and City departments to deliver projects on time and within budget.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education and experience.
• Minimum 3 years of project coordination or construction administration.
• Public sector capital project experience preferred.
• Valid Georgia Driver's License required.

Responsibilities

• Assist management of capital improvement projects from initiation through closeout.
• Coordinate schedules, meetings, documentation, and tracking activities.
• Assist with procurement including bids and contract documentation.
• Review plans, cost estimates, and consultant deliverables for completeness.
• Maintain project files, reporting systems, and progress updates.
• Prepare reports for staff, boards, and City Council.
