Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in civil engineering and a professional engineering license required.
• Five years of responsible engineering work in municipal highway construction and design.
• Working knowledge of standards, specs, methods and laws pertaining to highway engineering.

Responsibilities

• Prepare reports, designs, drawings, cost estimates and specifications for Public Works projects.
• Direct, supervise and assign the work of engineering staff shown in the division.
• Administer highway permits, LRIP/State programs and capital improvement planning.
• Coordinate with DOT, municipalities and other agencies on projects and funding.
