Job summary

The Biological Scientist III at the Florida Department of Health conducts countywide communicable disease surveillance and provides epidemiological support, performing case investigations and data-driven analyses to inform public health actions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in biological or health sciences or relevant work experience.
• Ability to conduct health investigations and epidemiological analysis.
• Experience with disease surveillance, data management, and epidemiological reporting.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills and ability to maintain confidentiality.
• Reliable personal transportation required.
