Job summary

The County of Riverside's Riverside University Health System – Public Health is recruiting a full-time Registered Nurse I–V for the California Children's Services (CCS) program in Riverside. The role performs case management, coordinates specialty medical care, authorizes services, monitors utilization, and liaises with families and providers.

This position supports family-centered care through advocacy, education, and care coordination.

Qualifications

• License must be valid in California.
• Public Health Nursing Certificate may be obtained within 6 months of hire.
• Experience requirements vary by RN level.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, organize, provide and oversee nursing care per physician instructions.
• Lead or participate in committee meetings and present data for management decisions.
• Lead or participate in performance improvements and update policies and procedures.
• Mentor nursing staff and coordinate care across units and departments.
• Draft standards of care and educate staff to meet goals.
