Job summary

Fund for Public Health in NYC (FPHNYC) seeks a Special Projects Fellow to support WorkWell NYC initiatives, events, and data-driven programs aimed at improving city employees' health and well-being.

The role reports to the Program Director and works under supervision with a focus on independent project work and stakeholder engagement. The position offers a hybrid schedule after an initial in-office period and requires an in-office day on Wednesdays.

Qualifications

• Proven skills in project and time management and strong verbal and written communication.
• Highly organized with ability to balance multiple assignments and deadlines.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Canva, Airtable and Salesforce.
• Graduate student (preferred) in public health, health promotion or related field.
• Previous experience with research, outreach and program development.
• Experience with health and wellness promotion programs.

Responsibilities

• Assist with development of innovative programming and events for WorkWell NYC.
• Research vendors and event spaces; draft planning documents and marketing materials.
• Support implementation and staffing of events and initiatives.
• Develop and map data analytics and CRM tools; conduct information gathering from stakeholders.
• Draft communications for stakeholders and attend staff meetings as requested.
• Other duties to support department goals.
