SUNY Downstate Health Sciences University in New York is seeking a full-time Professor or Associate Professor (12-MO) on a tenure-track in the School of Public Health. The successful candidate will hold a primary appointment in CHS or Epidemiology and Biostatistics and advance health equity scholarship.

They will contribute to growing TRANSPORT, support trainee development, and lead initiatives aligning with the school's values and commitment to social justice.

Formación

• Terminal degree in Public Health or related field.
• Clearly defined record of excellence in research and scholarship.

Responsabilidades

• Have a primary appointment in the Department of Community Health Sciences or Epidemiology and Biostatistics.
• Contribute to building and maintaining a collegial community of scholars and educators aligned with our school's values and commitment to health equity and social justice.
• Contribute to supporting the growth of both the School of Public Health and TRANSPORT, a NIH endowment program.
• Support the professional growth of students, postdoctoral trainees, and early-stage faculty, including leadership in planning and implementing TRANSPORT trainee programs.
