Job summary

Responsibilities

• Respond to inquiries from local officials, community boards, and the public.
• Attend and represent the Department at community board meetings, town halls, and public meetings.
• Disseminate public health information to community stakeholders and the public.
• Provide staffing support to the Public Information Office during public health emergency activations.
• Coordinate logistics of community forums and meetings with other city agencies.
• Research and track legislation and coordinate Department responses across program areas.
• Prepare briefing materials for executive leadership for hearings and meetings.
