Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Assesses and manages care of patients in general medical settings or specialty clinics.
• Performs routine laboratory and screening procedures (blood draws, cultures, skin tests, EKGs, pap smears).
• Performs routine therapeutic procedures (injections, immunizations, sutures, casting, wound care).
• Educates and counsels patients on health matters and facilitates referrals.
• Administers treatments and medications prescribed by physicians.
• Maintains patient records and presents data to physicians.
• The Physician Assistant may perform other duties as assigned/requested.
