Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Current CNA, MA, or PBT–ASCP certification.
• At least one year of data entry experience.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel locally as needed.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to handle confidential information.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Strong communication and people skills.
• Ability to stay organized, manage multiple tasks, and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Informing and preparing patients for blood draws and performing blood collection.
• Follow safety and hygiene protocols, including needle disposal.
• Label blood samples accurately with patient information.
• Store and transport samples to the laboratory to maintain integrity.
• Enter patient and blood draw information into the medical records system.
• Regularly check and maintain phlebotomy equipment.
