Job summary

Salt River Pima- Maricopa Indian Community seeks a dedicated Public Health Nursing Supervisor to oversee nursing operations, staff supervision and program delivery for community health initiatives. The role emphasizes compliance with licensure standards, staff development and high-quality client care across immunization, chronic disease management and preventive health activities.

The position requires an AZ RN license, an associate degree in nursing and several years of nursing experience,

Qualifications

Active AZ Registered Nurse license and Associate’s degree in Nursing.
Five (5) years of professional nursing experience.
Two (2) years of nursing supervisor/charge nurse experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Oversees Public Health nursing operations and staff.
Maintains Public Health nursing services aligned with community priorities.
Provides orientation, training and ongoing staff development to support quality nursing practice.
Collaborates with leadership to develop Public Health priorities and strategic goals.
Coordinates care with families, programs, providers and outside agencies.
Monitors documentation and supports quality improvement initiatives.
Participates in immunization clinics and chronic disease management programs.
Ensures patient confidentiality and HIPAA compliance.
