Qualifications

• Requires Associate degree in nursing and 3 years of nursing experience with PHN course within 1 year.
• Or 2 years of experience at the PH Registered Nurse Supervisor level.
• Current Georgia Registered Nurse license and CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Provide advanced professional nursing services within a County Public Health Department.
• Assess client and community health needs and provide direct patient care.
• Assist with coordination of clinical services and collaborate with internal teams and external partners.
• Develop clinic schedules and supervise staff.
• Participate in emergency preparedness activities, including mass clinics and responses during public health emergencies.
• Duties may include collection of specimens and administration of vaccinations.
