Job summary

Florida Department of Health in Suwannee County is seeking a Community Health Nurse to provide clinical services across immunization, STD/HIV/AIDS, Hepatitis, TB, family planning and adult health programs.

Under supervision of the Senior Community Health Nursing Director, the role supports ARNPs, participates in epidemiology activities, maintains CPR certification, and ensures data entry into HMS.

Qualifications

Nursing knowledge and public health principles.
Ability to administer medications and provide preventive care.
Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

Provide nursing services in Immunization, STD, HIV/AIDS, Hepatitis, TB, Family Planning and Adult Health programs.
Assist ARNP in providing clinical services as required.
Enter service data into HMS and maintain CPR certification.
Investigate epidemiology program including reportable diseases.
