Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Provides nursing care for STI, family planning, HIV testing/prevention and immunizations.
• Performs phlebotomy and nursing assessments as directed.
• Educates clients on health issues and documents care clearly.
• Supports the communicable disease program and TB-related activities.
• Administers vaccines and injections under physician or nursing protocol.
• Reviews health records, takes histories, and assists in exams and procedures.
• On-call duties may be required; responds to emergencies as needed.
