Gunnison County Health & Human Services seeks a licensed Registered Nurse to deliver professional nursing services for Jail Health Services and related clinical programs. You will ensure high standards of nursing practice and compliance with policies and public health guidelines.

The role emphasizes preventive care, therapeutic and restorative nursing across client and community needs, under the Clinical Services Manager. A Colorado RN license and CPR are required.

Qualificações

• Current Colorado RN license in good standing.
• Current CPR certification.
• Completion of ICS-100 and ICS-700 within first year of employment.
• Bachelor's degree in nursing or NN/ State-approved diploma with supervision experience.

Responsabilidades

• Provide professional nursing services per Clinical Services Manager guidelines.
• Deliver preventive, therapeutic, and restorative nursing care according to public health standards.
• Maintain adherence to policies, procedures, and standards of Gunnison County Health & Human Services.

Job Summary

Delivers professional, skilled nursing services for Jail Health Services and other clinical programs as assigned by Clinical Services Manager. Responsible for maintaining the highest standards in clinical nursing practice and adherence to policies, procedures, guidelines and standards of practice and Gunnison County Health & Human Services (HHS). Provides for the preventive, therapeutic and restorative aspects of nursing care based on systematic assessment of client, family and community needs and core public health services.

Pay Rate

The hourly range is from $35.68 to $37.55 depending on experience.

This position is 25 hours per week.

Requirements

• Must possess a valid Colorado driver’s license.
• Must complete IC S 100 and IC S 700 within the first year of employment.
• Current license to practice (in good standing) as a registered nurse (RN) in Colorado.
• Special certification as appropriate and required for expanded functions.
• Current CPR.

Qualifications/Education

• A Baccalaureate degree in nursing from a school accredited by the National League
• of Nursing. Public Health experience preferred, or
• Graduation from a N.L.N., State approved diploma school of nursing, with three
• years’ experience, at least one of which includes supervision. Public Health
• experience is preferred.
• For expanded functions, completion of an organized educational program in a specific
• clinical area.
• Recent pertinent continuing education.
• Completion of Universal Precautions/ Bloodborne Pathogen training within 30 days of
• hire and annual review.
