Job summary

Job Opportunities

The Lee County Health Department is seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team as a Public Health Nurse. This is a full-time position offering the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the health and well-being of women, children, and families throughout Lee County.

Compensation: $55,000 - $60,000 annually (depending on qualifications and experience)

This Public Health Nurse will join the department's Maternal & Child Health Team, and work in the following programs:

• WIC (Women, Infants & Children)
• Better Birth Outcomes
• Immunization Programs
• HealthWorks
• Lead Program

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse (RN) license required
• Experience in maternal and child health, public health, or a related area is a plus
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively with other staff, community partners, and the public
