Job summary

Maricopa County Department of Public Health is seeking a Family Nurse Practitioner Lead to provide advanced clinical care and program leadership across TB, STI, and Refugee Health services in Maricopa County.

You will supervise APs, collaborate with physicians and program managers, mentor providers, and drive quality improvement while ensuring compliant, compassionate care for diverse populations.

Qualifications

• Five years of clinical experience in infectious diseases (STIs, TB, HIV).
• Experience supervising or coordinating clinical staff.
• Arizona Family Nurse Practitioner license.

Responsibilities

• Deliver advanced, evidence-based clinical care to patients at elevated risk for STIs, TB & HIV; obtain health histories and perform exams.
• Provide patient education promoting adherence and self-management; support public health response activities as needed.
• Provide clinical leadership; mentor and develop advanced practice providers; conduct case reviews and practice support.
