Responsibilities

• Review license applications, permits, certifications, renewals, and reciprocity requests for completeness, accuracy, and eligibility.
• Recommend approval or rejection of applications based on established policies, procedures, and laws.
• Issue and maintain licenses, certificates, registrations, and other authorizations.
• Enter and update applicant and licensee information in databases.
• Process license payments, fees, refunds, returned checks, and payment records.
• Prepare and coordinate reports for regulatory boards and commissions.
• Respond to applicant inquiries, handle complaints, and explain licensing policies and procedures.
• Coordinate board meetings, competency examinations, interviews, and applicant notifications.
• Monitor case investigations and examination activities as assigned.
• Communicate findings and case status to supervisors, attorneys, board members, and other stakeholders.
