Key Responsibilities
- Review license, permit, certification, reciprocity, and renewal applications for completeness, accuracy, and eligibility.
- Recommend approval or rejection in accordance with applicable laws, rules, policies, and procedures.
- Issue licenses and other authorizations and ensure licensing records, reports, fees, refunds, and returned checks are processed accurately.
- Enter, update, and verify information in regulatory databases and research case or application status.
- Respond to inquiries, explain requirements, handle complaints, and provide records or reports to applicants, boards, agencies, and professional organizations.
- Coordinate board meetings, examinations, interviews, notifications, and related administrative logistics.
- Escalate policy exceptions or critical issues and support monitoring of investigations and examinations as assigned.

Work Environment and Requirements
- This is a hybrid, weekday assignment supporting TN DOH regulatory board operations. The role requires dependable attendance during the regular 8:00 AM–4:30 PM CST shift, effective use of computer-based licensing systems, and professional interaction with applicants, board members, state personnel, and external organizations.
