Job summary

Venesco, LLC is seeking a Public Health Instructor to support the 711th HPW at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base in Ohio. The role requires delivering classroom instruction and developing Public Health Education training programs for military personnel and civilian staff.

Candidates should have an Associate’s Degree in Public Health and substantial experience in public health, with emphasis on force health management, outbreak investigation and health surveillance. US Citizenship is required.

Qualifications

• Associate’s Degree in Public Health required.
• 8 years of experience in a public health related field.
• Experience providing operational consultation in Force Health Management and Community Health Public Health programs in the Air Force.
• Familiarity with equipment used in Public Health offices, such as outbreak investigation tools, mosquito traps and food inspection materials.

Responsibilities

• Assist with activities of Public Health Education Division.
• Serve as a subject matter expert for creating Public Health Education training.
• Help design Public Health lesson plans using Instructional System Development methodology.
• Conduct classroom instruction for public health subjects.
• Provide platform instruction for scheduled/assigned lessons in Public Health programs.
• Present instruction according to lesson plans and adapt as needed for students.
