Job summary

DecisionPoint Corporation in Atlanta, GA, is seeking a Planning Coordinator to provide comprehensive planning and operational support during public health IMS activations across preparedness, response, and recovery phases. This is a 100% in-person position with occasional telework possible with approval.

The role requires building Planning Section documentation, maintaining all-hazards plans, and coordinating across time zones and agencies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 4 years' experience in emergency management or equivalent; seven years' experience may substitute.
• Demonstrated experience in emergency management, public health preparedness, or incident management.
• Working knowledge of ICS/IMS and NIMS.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain public health emergency response plans and annexes.
• Support the Planning Section during IMS activations as the Documentation Desk.
• Develop Planning Section documentation (IAPs, SITREPs, planning templates).
• Maintain planning documents and ensure alignment with federal frameworks.
• Provide support during IMS activations, exercises, and steady-state operations.
