DC Health in Washington, DC, is seeking a Program Coordinator to support the Immunization Division with community engagement. You will lead outreach, education, and partnership-building activities to improve vaccination awareness, access, and uptake across the District.

You will coordinate events with schools, community-based organizations, and healthcare providers, building relationships with diverse stakeholders to ensure equitable access to immunization services.

Qualificações

• Two to four years of work experience in community engagement, health education, program coordination, or public health outreach preferred.
• A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Public Health, Health Education, Community Health, Communications, Social Work, or a related field.
• A Master’s degree in Public Health, Health Promotion, Health Communication, or Community Health is preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Develops and implements community engagement strategies to increase vaccine awareness and uptake.
• Coordinates outreach events, workshops, and presentations with schools and local partners.
• Builds relationships with community leaders and stakeholders to support equitable immunization access.
• Serves as liaison between Immunization Division and external partners for timely updates.
• Supports planning and coordination of public education campaigns and materials.
