MARION COUNTY HEALTH DEPARTMENT seeks a COMMUNITy HEALTH NURSE to work in the Immunization Clinic and outreach/mobile units in Ocala, FL. The RN administers vaccines, provides health information, and advises clients and staff on immunization practices in alignment with state guidelines.

Responsibilities include maintaining vaccine inventory, data entry into HMS/FLSHOTS, and responding to vaccine-related needs in after-hours situations.

Formación

• Active and Unrestricted Florida RN License.
• Experience with client education.
• Experience with FLSHOTS (preferred).
• Experience with pediatrics (preferred).
• Experience with public health (preferred).

Responsabilidades

• Immunize children and adults per ACIP guidelines.
• Educate clients and families about vaccines and adverse reactions.
• Maintain vaccine inventory and processing logs.
• Monitor temperature of vaccine storage equipment and ensure compliance.
• Provide counseling after hours for vaccine-related concerns and outbreaks.
• Assist during disaster operations as assigned.
