Job summary
The Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment (CDPHE) seeks a Nurse Consultant to support the Immunization Branch, advancing immunization coverage and vaccine programs for Coloradans.
You will conduct IQIP site visits, provide clinical consultation, and develop educational resources for providers and the public, with hybrid work options and a strong commitment to public health equity.
Qualifications
- Master’s degree and RN licensure with 3 years in public health nursing or immunization programs.
- Experience providing technical assistance and training on immunization resources.
- Knowledge of CIIS, IQIP, and Vaccines for Children programs.
Responsibilities
- Conduct IQIP site visits to assess workflows and identify improvement opportunities.
- Generate provider-level immunization coverage reports and interpret rates.
- Collaborate with providers through check-ins to support QI strategies.
- Ensure timely data entry into CIIS and support vaccine forecasting.
- Develop educational materials for providers and the public.
- Respond to vaccine-related inquiries and provide clinical consultation.
