Job summary

Change Craft in Sacramento offers a paid, part‑time Research Internship designed for current students or recent graduates. You will work on audience research, data collection, and synthesis, supporting campaigns that advance public health, equity, and social change.

The role includes content creation, advocacy support, events, and stakeholder outreach as part of a collaborative team. Interns gain mentorship, regular check-ins, and a final project that strengthens a portfolio and professional

Qualifications

• Minimum high school diploma or GED is required.
• Currently enrolled as a student in a qualifying field or recently graduated within 4 years.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills across audiences.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced, mission-driven team.
• Familiarity with social media platforms and content creation basics.
• Collaborative, detail-oriented, and proactive in learning.

Responsibilities

• Support research activities, including audience insights and data collection.
• Assist in social and digital content creation and scheduling.
• Help track policy and advocacy materials and support messaging.
• Coordinate events and community outreach logistics.
• Draft PR materials and assist with campaign messaging.
• Participate in team meetings and maintain project timelines.
