Job summary

GAP Solutions supports CDC's OPHDST as a Mid-Level Data Management Analyst focused on data lifecycle, ingestion, quality, and governance. You will work with program staff, engineers, and data vendors to ensure data readiness and reliable delivery of data products across CDC platforms.

Required are a Bachelor’s degree in a related field and at least 4 years of data management or analytics experience, including hands-on Palantir Foundry. Python/SQL/R skills and cloud experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required in a data-related field.
• 4+ years of relevant professional experience in data management, data analytics, data engineering support, or related field.
• 1+ year of hands-on Palantir Foundry experience.
• Experience with data pipelines, data quality, and metadata management.

Responsibilities

• Manage CDC Data Hub data assets across the data lifecycle including ingestion, release management, version control, and archival.
• Perform data quality assurance, validation, health checks, and documentation for production readiness.
• Develop and maintain data extracts and transformation scripts using Python, SQL, R, SAS, Spark or approved tools.
• Collaborate with data engineers to monitor, troubleshoot, and improve data pipelines and data delivery.
• Monitor data lineage, transformations, dependencies, schema changes, and release history.
• Support data stewardship and governance activities including metadata, dictionaries, and access requirements.
• Publish, version, and maintain data products within CDC data environments and marketplaces.
• Create SOPs and technical documentation for ingestion, QC, versioning, dissemination, and data management processes.
• Liaise with CDC program staff, analysts, engineers, and data vendors to clarify requirements and resolve data issues.
