Job summary

Lantana Consulting Group, Inc. seeks a seasoned business analyst to support public-health data initiatives and interoperability projects. You will translate client needs into clear requirements and collaborate with delivery teams to shape solution designs.

In this remote-friendly role, you will document workflows, data flows, and testing scenarios, ensuring quality and compliance with health standards while communicating complex concepts to nontechnical stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field as stated.
• Minimum six years as a business analyst in technical projects.

Responsibilities

• Elicit, document, and manage business and technical requirements through interviews and workshops.
• Develop artifacts such as BRD, user stories, data-flow diagrams, and acceptance criteria.
• Collaborate with technical teams to translate requirements into designs and backlog items.
• Coordinate test planning, scenarios, and user-acceptance testing with SMEs.
• Analyze system integrations and data flows across public-health programs.
• Create SOPs, data dictionaries, user guides, and meeting summaries.
• Contribute to decisions on data quality, timeliness, and reporting across use cases.
• Communicate complex technical topics clearly to nontechnical audiences.
