Job summary

Augusta University’s School of Public Health seeks a Public Health Data Analyst to support research, evaluation, and grant projects through statistical analysis, visualization, and data management. Travel across Georgia is expected for project implementation and partner collaboration.

The role emphasizes reproducible workflows, data dictionaries, and transparent analytic documentation to advance cancer screening and population health research.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 3 years of data analytics or related field.
• Master's degree and experience with participatory research; secondary data like NHANES/NHIS.
• 3+ years' experience in data management or analysis.
• Experience with Excel and SAS/SPSS; Qualtrics for data collection.
• Experience with EHR data management, reporting, and data quality.

Responsibilities

• Statistical analysis and interpretation to support research objectives.
• Develop data visualizations, dashboards, and reports for diverse audiences.
• Design and maintain data collection, cleaning, and integration processes.
• Coordinate training on data collection procedures and system use.
• Support literature reviews, IRB docs, manuscripts, abstracts, and grants.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
