Job summary

Goldbelt Professional Services is seeking a Data Analyst I to provide NHSN Dialysis Event prevention and surveillance training support within the Surveillance Branch. Responsibilities include user support, education outreach, and data quality improvement.

We seek individuals with a foundation in public health data analysis, proficiency in SAS/R/Python, and strong communication skills. Eligible for CDC clearance, with a competitive benefits package and potential contract-based opportunities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Data Science, Public Health, or related field.
• 1–2 years of public health data analysis and manipulating, cleaning, and reporting data using statistical functions.
• Proficiency in SAS, R, Python, or similar statistical software.
• Knowledge of data management systems and government procedures.
• Ability to obtain and maintain CDC Public Trust Clearance.

Responsibilities

• Provide NHSN Dialysis Event training and user support.
• Conduct outreach and educate dialysis provider groups and health departments.
• Analyze NHSN data and improve data quality; track modifications.
• Develop data validation projects and reporting.
• Coordinate with CDC and partner organizations on data exchanges.
• Prepare education trainings and outreach materials.
• Review and develop training documents for NHSN and infection prevention.
