Guidehouse is seeking a Technical Lead to design and implement interoperable public health data exchange and AI solutions. You will guide architects, engineers, analysts, and informaticists to translate client needs into solid technical approaches while ensuring security, scalability, and compliance with public health workflows.

The role requires five years in a Technical Lead capacity, experience with HL7 v2, FHIR, CDA, and APIs, and strong communication to nontechnical stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Minimum five years in a Technical Lead role.
• Experience modernizing and implementing Cloud, AI, analytics, and data management.
• Knowledge of HL7 v2, FHIR, CDA and APIs in public health.
• Ability to communicate complex concepts to nontechnical audiences.
• Public health informatics experience in surveillance and workflows.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead design and execution of data exchange and AI/ML solutions.
• Ensure QA/QC across the tech stack and troubleshooting.
• Guide architects, engineers, and analysts translating client needs.
• Document decisions, assumptions, and dependencies.
• Review deliverables for scope and quality.
• Mentor junior staff and share knowledge.
