Job summary

UNT Dallas invites applications for an Adjunct Instructor in Public Health for Spring 2027. This adjunct faculty position supports the DAL-HS Public Health-519400 department and carries a 0.48 FTE load on the UNT Dallas campus.

You will develop lesson plans for undergraduate Public Health courses (e.g., Introduction to Public Health, Program Planning and Evaluation, Health Promotion, Epidemiology) and deliver instruction, while holding office hours and engaging in professional activities.

Qualifications

• Master’s in Public Health with strong teaching experience.
• Master’s in another health field with at least 18 graduate hours in Public Health.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience in online or hybrid instruction.

Responsibilities

• Develop lesson plans and teach undergraduate Public Health courses.
• Deliver instruction in core courses including Intro to Public Health, Epidemiology, Health Promotion.
• Design and evaluate teaching objectives and student learning outcomes.
• Fulfill divisional responsibilities and participate in professional activities.
