The Accreditation Director oversees the department’s data collection, reporting, accreditation, and quality improvement initiatives to ensure alignment with program objectives and public health certification and accreditation standards.

Supports the organization by applying tools and methods, conducting data analysis, preparing technical documentation, managing projects, and promoting leadership development in change management.

Qualificações

• Comprehensive knowledge of principles and practices of public health.
• Thorough knowledge of family health and community engagement with partners and stakeholders.
• Thorough knowledge of public health laws, policies, and regulations (Maryland).
• Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing.
• Knowledge of community health assessments, planning and evaluation.
• Able to gather, analyze, organize, interpret and report health data.
• Ability to convene, facilitate and educate diverse groups.
• Experience in project coordination and project management; multi-project capability.
• Probem-solving, detail-oriented and multi-tasking skills.
• Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills.

Responsabilidades

• Defines and advocates for the voice of the customer when improving processes and programs.
• Provides leadership for quality improvement activities.
• Develops tools for quality improvement and conducts chart reviews with regular reports to exec leadership.
• Manages data compilation and analysis for quality initiatives.
• Summarizes performance data to identify opportunities for improvement.
• Assesses impact of quality initiatives and maintains partnerships.
• Leads strategic projects with risk/benefit analysis and timely completion.
• Develops and implements the Agency wide Quality Improvement Plan.
• Oversees focus groups and key informant interviews.
• Coordinates public health planning aligned with the department's strategic plan.
• Participates in public health emergency response duties as assigned.
• Performs other related duties as required.

Formação académica

Bachelor’s degree; Master’s preferred in business administration, public administration, management, or related field
