Qualifications

  • A Bachelor's degree in a related field and two years of professional experience conducting statistical research, data analysis, and/or other advanced modeling techniques to streamline operations.

Responsibilities

  • Evaluates division workflows to identify operational efficiencies including tree maintenance, emergency storm response, and weed abatement schedules.
  • Analyzes workflows and problems from multiple angles, develops hypotheses, and tests those hypotheses through data and operations review.
  • Designs solutions to overcome obstacles, recommends them to leadership, and implements them when appropriate.
  • Identifies and overcomes obstacles to solutions including ordinances, policy constraints, and information gaps.
  • Develops and monitors KPIs to track citizen service response times and field crew productivity.
  • Generates data-driven reports on division activities and resource usage using asset/work tracking systems.
  • Prepares reports, presentations, and briefings on performance, system metrics, and process improvements.
  • Conducts spot checks of procurement data and field activities to ensure data integrity for reporting.
  • Organizes regular accountability meetings with Division leadership and partners to track procurement improvement progress.
