Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Knowledge of office terminology, procedures, and equipment.
• Knowledge of business arithmetic.
• Knowledge of English grammar, spelling and punctuation.
• Skill typing from clear copy or rough draft at a high rate of words per minute with a high degree of accuracy.
• Ability to handle money and credit and debit cards accurately.
• Ability to assist the public in a helpful and professional manner.
• Ability to achieve and maintain office standards of acceptable transaction times.
• Ability to work as part of a team to accomplish division and department goals.
• Ability to maintain effective working relationships.
• Criminal history background check and fingerprinting required.
• Must adhere to professional code of ethics as a sworn Deputy Assessor.
