Job summary

King County Department of Public Defense in Seattle seeks a Public Defense Research and Data Analyst to lead data, analytics and system configuration across case management, databases, reporting and SaaS platforms. Under the Director of Data Analytics, you will develop data products, govern data privacy, and collaborate with staff, leadership, and partners while prioritizing equity.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 2+ years in technical support, systems configuration, or data analysis.
• Working knowledge of SQL (T-SQL/PL-SQL) for configuration, reporting, and data extraction.
• Experience providing technical support to non-technical staff and with SaaS systems.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support for software applications and case management systems; triage, prioritize, and resolve tickets.
• Independently write and troubleshoot complex SQL queries for configuration and reporting.
• Develop and deliver training for staff on software applications and create training documentation.
• Manage the Department's website using Sitecore and assist with Office 365/SharePoint governance.
• Collaborate with leadership to define priorities and ensure data-driven decision making.
