Job summary

Augusta National Golf Club invites you to join the Masters Tournament as a Culinary Runner, helping deliver a premier guest experience. You will move products between concessions, ensure safe food handling, and support the culinary team with efficiency and courtesy.

Candidates should be able to work in heat or adverse conditions, lift up to 30 pounds, and hold a valid driver's license if required for vehicle operation. Training and orientation are provided.

Qualifications

• Experience in food service or concessions is preferred.
• Able to perform duties in varying weather conditions.
• Must be able to operate a golf cart if required.

Responsibilities

• Receives, stocks and distributes food and supplies to concessions and storage facilities.
• Maintains, organizes and cleans storage areas.
• Demonstrates understanding of food safety procedures.
• Moves items in the safest, most efficient way.
• Stocks all items needed for the Concession operation.
• Greets and directs members, players, caddies and patrons.
• Operates a golf cart and/or full-sized vehicle following safety regulations.

The Culinary Runner is primarily responsible for moving product as needed, ensuring all service meets Club standards.

Pay Rate: $10.00/hr

Essential Functions of the Job

• Receives, stocks and distributes food and supplies to all concessions and storage facilities.
• Maintains, organizes and performs necessary clean up and sanitation of all storage areas.
• Demonstrates understanding of food safety procedures.
• Moves items in the safest, most efficient way.
• Stocks all items needed for the success of the Concession operation.
• Breaks down boxes and places them in the proper area.
• Greets and directs all members, players, caddies and patrons in a friendly, courteous and professional manner.
• Operates a golf cart and/or full-sized vehicle, following all legal and Club safety regulations.

Other Duties and Responsibilities

• Maintains the confidentiality of all Club business.
• Demonstrates a commitment to upholding professional standards in the work environment.
• Performs other duties which are deemed by management to be an integral part of the job.
• Attends mandatory orientation and training sessions.
• Required to work schedule as defined by department to include holidays, weekends and overtime as needed.
