Job summary

Augusta National Golf Club is seeking a Cashier for the Masters Tournament. You will process sales transactions for patrons, ensuring service meets Club standards and maintaining confidentiality.

Pay rate is $14.00 per hour. Roles include greeting guests, operating POS equipment, scanning items, handling payments, and handing receipts, with mandatory orientation and weekend/holiday work.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Proficient in operating Point of Sale equipment.
• Strong interpersonal skills for team environments.
• Ability to work in heat, cold, rain or other adverse conditions.
• Requires lifting up to 30 pounds.
• Must be able to sit/stand for extended periods.
• Willingness to work holidays, weekends and overtime as needed.

The Cashier is primarily responsible for processing the sales transactions for patrons’ purchases, ensuring all service meets Club standards.

Pay Rate: $14.00/hr

Essential Functions of the Job

• Greets and directs all members, players, caddies and patrons in a friendly, courteous and professional manner.
• Operates the Point of Sale equipment as directed.
• Scans correct items into the computer system, totaling the transaction.
• Requests payment type from the patron, accepting and processing either a single or multiple payment type for the transaction.
• Requests signature for credit card transactions on signature capture hardware devices when applicable.
• Provides the patron with the transaction receipt.

Other Duties and Responsibilities

• Maintains the confidentiality of all Club business.
• Demonstrates a commitment to upholding professional standards in the work environment.
• Performs other duties which are deemed by management to be an integral part of the job.
• Attends mandatory orientation and training sessions.
• Required to work schedule as defined by department to include holidays, weekends and overtime as needed.
