Job summary

TC Energy invites a Student Intern in Houston to support public awareness, outreach, and stakeholder relations, gaining hands-on experience across cross-functional teams. You will help with campaigns, event coordination, and stakeholder records while applying your academic knowledge to real-world projects in energy delivery.

Responsibilities include developing communications materials, coordinating meetings, researching regulatory developments, and providing admin support.

Qualifications

• Must be enrolled in an accredited degree program related to communications, public affairs, or related field.
• Return to full-time studies immediately after May 2027 work term.
• Completion of at least one academic term prior to start of term in May 2027.

Responsibilities

• Assist in planning and executing public awareness campaigns for landowners, emergency responders, and community stakeholders
• Support coordination of liaison meetings, community events, and educational outreach activities
• Maintain records of stakeholder interactions and outreach activities to support compliance requirements
• Contribute to the development of communication materials, presentations, and reports
• Participate in cross‑functional meetings with Operations, Land, Communications, and other partners
• Research industry best practices and regulatory developments related to public awareness programs
• Provide administrative and logistical support for public awareness initiatives
• Support stakeholder engagement activities and community outreach programs
