Job Overview:

The Public Areas Attendant maintains the cleanliness of the hotel, demonstrating exceptional communication and guest service skills. This fast-paced role involves constant customer interaction, requiring the ability to push and pull moderate weights, and servicing guest requests.

Work Schedule:

Must be able to work 3 PM shifts (2:00 pm - 10:30 pm) and 2 overnight shifts (10:00 pm - 6:30 am). Availability on weekends and holidays is required.

Position Responsibilities:
  • Greet guests warmly in public spaces.
  • Clean common/public areas and assigned washrooms according to standards, including wiping, dusting, sweeping, mopping, polishing, scrubbing, shampooing, and straightening.
  • Restock and remove towels in gym/pool areas.
  • Pick up ground litter around the hotel.
  • Assist housekeeping with cleaning, laundry, and supplies as needed.
  • Maintain cleanliness of all areas, including back of house.
  • Respond to guest queries, concerns, and complaints.
  • Deliver guest requests promptly.
  • Turn in lost articles to management for the Lost and Found.
  • Perform other duties as required.
Wage Information:

The salary range is $20.90 to $27.17 per hour, with a starting rate of $20.90. Salaries depend on experience, qualifications, and education. Additionally, there is a $1.00 shift differential for PM shifts and a $2.00 differential for overnight shifts.
