Job Summary

The Public Area Attendant maintains the cleanliness and overall appearance of the lobby area. This role supports the company's goals, objectives, vision, mission, and values as an active business partner.

Essential Functions

• Distribute linen and supplies to designated hotel areas according to established par levels.
• Report linen shortages or discrepancies to the manager or supervisor.
• Remove trash from work areas, loading dock, dumpster, and cleaning carts.
• Maintain storage and distribution areas in a clean and organized manner.
• Keep guest corridors clean and presentable.
• Sweep, wash floors, vacuum carpets, dust furniture and fixtures, clean ashtrays, elevators, and tracks.
• Deliver goods, supplies, linen, and other items to guest rooms and floors.
• Make up and deliver roll-away beds and cribs as needed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous hospitality experience is a plus.

Physical Requirements

Must be able to stand and move for up to 7 hours, lift up to 50 lbs regularly, push/pull carts weighing up to 250 lbs, and perform bending, squatting, and stretching tasks. Manual dexterity, visual acuity, and communication skills are required.

The pay scale for this position is $21.50 per hour.
