Description

A Public Area Attendant is responsible for cleaning and maintaining all public areas of the hotel and responding to guest requests, in the hotel's ongoing effort to deliver outstanding guest service and ensure financial profitability.

Job Duties

1. Thoroughly clean sinks, toilets, urinals, mirrors, countertops, walls, vents, and floors using specified cleaning agents. Dispose of trash.
2. Dust all furniture and pictures, clean windows and glass, and vacuum public areas.
3. Vacuum and dispose of trash in office areas.
4. Polish fixtures and vacuum elevators.
5. Maintain a vacuumed appearance in stairwells.
6. Clean ashtrays.
7. Clean guest rooms as needed.
8. Assist in delivering guest requests.

Education/Experience Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Some work experience in a related field preferred.
• Hospitality experience preferred.
