Job summary

Westin Baltimore Airport, operated by HEI Hotels & Resorts, seeks a Lobby Attendant/Public Area Attendant to maintain a clean and safe guest environment. You will service public areas, respond to housekeeping needs, and support guests and vendors throughout shifts.

The role requires attention to detail, reliability and the ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends and holidays. Prior hotel experience is preferred, with a focus on professional appearance and guest

Qualifications

• Hotel experience preferred.
• Self-starting personality with an even disposition.
• Maintain a professional appearance and manner at all times.
• Can communicate well with guests.
• Able to lift, bend, stoop, walk, push/pull heavy equipment, and stand for long periods.
• Understand and follow directions with limited supervision.
• Strong verbal and written communication; adapt to audiences.
• Flexible schedule including days, evenings, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Clean sinks, toilets, urinals, mirrors, tiles, counters, walls, stalls and floors with approved agents.
• Dust furniture, pictures and shelves; extend arms over head as needed.
• Polish metal surfaces and dispose of trash and ashtrays.
• Ensure presence and punctuality; comply with attendance rules.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Overview

We are looking for a Lobby Attendant / Public Area Attendant to join our team at the Westin Baltimore Airport! As our Public Area Attendant, you will maintain the building to ensure safe and clean experience for hotel guests, associates, and vendors.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Thoroughly clean sinks, toilets, urinals, mirrors, tiles, counters, walls, stalls, vents and/or floors with cleaning agents by extending arms over head to reach all above areas. Adhere to cleaning procedures and instructions for use of cleaning agents.
• Thoroughly dust all furniture, pictures and shelves, extending arms over head, bending and stooping as needed.
• Thoroughly clean and polish all metal surfaces, applying pressure in repeated motion.
• Clean ashtrays and empty trash.
• Comply with attendance rules and be available to work on a regular basis.
• Perform any other job‑related duties as assigned.

• Hotel experience preferred.

• Maintain a professional appearance and manner at all times.
• Can communicate well with guests.
• Ability to lift, bend, stoop, walk, push or pull heavy equipment, and stand for extended periods of time with or without reasonable accommodations.

• Effective verbal and written communication skills. Ability to adapt communication style to suit different audiences, such as effectively communicating with supervisors, coworkers, public etc.
• Must be able to work a flexible schedule including days, evenings, weekends and holidays.
