Job summary

High Country Motor Lodge in Flagstaff, AZ is seeking a dedicated housekeeping team member to keep our lodge sparkling and welcoming. You’ll maintain clean lobby areas, assist with sauna and steam rooms, and help guests with directions and local tips while presenting a warm, professional presence.

The role requires stamina to stay active, attention to detail, and the ability to work with the team to deliver genuine hospitality in a four-diamond-standard property.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent (preferred).
• At least six months of cleaning, janitorial, or caretaking experience.
• Stamina to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 100 lbs.
• Sharp eye for detail and a love of clean, welcoming spaces.
• Strong communication skills and ability to follow instructions.
• Warm, professional presence that fits a four-diamond standard.
• Honesty, independence, and a can-do attitude.

Responsibilities

• Keep lobby, walkways, and guest restrooms spotless and inviting.
• Provide five-star treatment for sauna and steam room.
• Dust, polish, and primp every corner per the look book.
• Tidy outdoor seating areas and walkways to showcase mountain views.
• Assist Housekeeping team as needed and be a friendly guide for guests.
• Be a go-to source for directions and recommendations; engage with guests.
• Report hazards and know emergency procedures to help keep everyone safe.
• Nurture lodge greenery to enhance guest vacations.

What You’ll Do

• Keep our lobby, walkways, and guest restrooms spotless and inviting — the kind of clean guests notice and remember
• Give our sauna and steam room the five-star treatment it deserves
• Dust, polish, and primp every corner, following our “look book” to a tee
• Tidy up outdoor seating areas, ashtrays, and walkways so our mountain views stay the star of the show
• Lend a hand (and a smile) to our Housekeeping team whenever needed
• Be a go-to guide for guests — directions, recommendations, and friendly conversation included
• Help keep everyone safe by reporting hazards and knowing emergency procedures
• Nurture our lodge greenery so it thrives as much as our guests’ vacations do

What You Bring
