Job summary

High Country Motor Lodge in Flagstaff is seeking a detail-minded housekeeper to keep our lobby, hallways, restrooms, and other public spaces spotless while delivering a warm, guest-focused experience. You will follow our look book and help maintain the lodge’s inviting atmosphere across common areas.

As part of the housekeeping team, you will guide guests with directions and local tips, assist with safety procedures, and care for lobby greenery.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent (preferred).
• At least six months of cleaning, janitorial, or caretaking experience.
• Stamina to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 100 lbs.
• Sharp eye for detail and a genuine love of clean, welcoming spaces.
• Great communication skills and comfort following instructions.

Responsibilities

• Keep lobby, walkways, and guest restrooms spotless and inviting.
• Give sauna and steam room the five-star treatment.
• Dust, polish, and primp every corner following the look book.
• Tidy outdoor seating areas and walkways to highlight mountain views.
• Lend a hand to the Housekeeping team as needed.
• Be a go-to guide for guests with directions and local tips.
• Help keep everyone safe by reporting hazards and knowing emergency procedures.
• Nurture lodge greenery to keep the grounds welcoming.

• Tidy up outdoor seating areas, ashtrays, and walkways so our mountain views stay the star of the show
• Lend a hand (and a smile) to our Housekeeping team whenever needed
• Be a go-to guide for guests — directions, recommendations, and friendly conversation included
• Help keep everyone safe by reporting hazards and knowing emergency procedures
• Nurture our lodge greenery so it thrives as much as our guests’ vacations do

What You Bring

• A high school diploma or equivalent (preferred)
• At least six months of experience in cleaning, janitorial, or caretaking work
