Job summary

Minot Hot Tot & Honeybees are seeking a Public Announcer Intern to provide in-game entertainment and sponsor messaging during home games. You will also support storytelling and marketing elements across videos, team stories, and social media, working with marketing and media teams to promote the team’s FUN-driven mission.

The role includes writing promotions, calling play-by-play, and assisting with events and mascot appearances; housing may be available, with a $500 monthly stipend and college

Qualifications

• Must be studying in a relevant field (Sport Management, Broadcasting, Mass Communication, Journalism, Marketing or Communications).
• Experience using Adobe Premiere for video editing.
• Experience posting to social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, TikTok, LinkedIn).
• Strong written and verbal communication and solid organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Announce all home games and pre-game shows during the season.
• Write game day scripts and sponsorship promotion announcements.
• Call live action with detailed description of competitive playoff seasons.
• Assist with setup/teardown of press box and marketing materials.
• Create in-game entertainment and between-inning activities.
• Represent the team at events and mascot appearances.
