Job summary

ENS Solutions, LLC is seeking a Public Affairs Officer – Mid to advance public affairs initiatives for the DoD/IC sector. The role requires producing AP-style content, managing media relations, and leading digital communications across multiple platforms.

You will coordinate event support, outreach activities, and internal/external communications while ensuring messaging remains consistent and accurate for diverse stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism or related field; DoW public affairs training preferred.
• 5 years minimum hands-on public affairs or journalism experience; 8+ years if no bachelor’s degree.

Responsibilities

• Produce internal and external public affairs content in AP style (articles, newsletters, social media, websites, briefs).
• Manage media relations: talking points, news releases, media performance metrics.
• Develop digital content for platforms (Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, YouTube, X/Twitter) and analyze performance.
• Lead strategic communications planning for agency initiatives and workforce development.
• Support external conferences, academic outreach, and high-level events; coordinate materials and briefings.
• Provide copy editing and QA for public affairs products; maintain logs and meeting records.
