Qualifications

• US Citizen with an active Secret clearance or ability to obtain one.
• Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Journalism, Public Relations, or related field.
• 5+ years of professional experience in government/federal public affairs, communications, or journalism.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong organizational and project management skills.
• Experience with social media platforms and content management systems.
• Experience with graphic design and multimedia production is a plus.
• Strong understanding of media relations and public relations best practices.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute strategic public affairs campaigns.
